The M32 gearbox has been known for failure of bearings over the years, this problem has now hopefully been rectified . You can “upgrade” your current set up to accommodate new uprated larger bearings on the top main shafts. This kit is for that set up and includes the new uprated top case to accommodate the new much larger, stronger bearings.
- Shims are needed and supplied to relieve pressure off the bearings and allows a better set up.
- Additional input bearing and seal included to allow for the variant.
This Kit contains the following parts:
2 x Top main shaft uprated (bigger) S.N.R.EC42229 x2 taper roller bearings (These are the bigger bearings to fit the new later case)
1 x Top input shaft uprated S.N.R. taper roller bearing EC43082 ( to replace the old Timken bearing that fails in this gearbox again larger to fit the new uprate case )
2 x Bottom mainshaft Timken NP238750 / NP929800 or FAG F571752.03 taper roller bearings
1 x Front input shaft bearing 27mm inner diameter
1 x Front input shaft late uprated S.N.R. EC42310 bearing 24.5 inner diameter.
2 x Differential / crown wheel uprated S.N.R. EC42217
2 x Differential / drive shaft oil seals.
1 x Front input oil seal for use with the Timken front input bearing, 26mm x 41mm x 6mm
1 x Front input oil seal for use with the S.N.R. front input bearing, 24.5mm x 41mm x 6mm
3 x Pinion shaft circlip 1.91mm thickness Genuine O.E.
3 x Shim 2X 0.85mm thickness Genuine O.E. 1X 1.35MM These relieve pressure allowing a better set up.
